PSG v Bayern Munich: Free Club World Cup tips, predictions, where to watch and bet builder

Most European clubs were not really bothered about the Club World Cup, but in fairness, once you have reached the last eight, you might as well try to go all the way.

European champions PSG have been tournament favourites from the very start, and some of their performances would suggest that they are taking this competition seriously.

The French outfit kicked off their campaign with a 4-0 thrashing of Atletico Madrid but took their foot off the gas a few days later as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Botafogo RJ.

Luis Enrique’s men returned to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 success over Seattle Sounders, before thumping Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami 4-0 in the last 16 stage.

Bayern Munich have followed a similar script. The German side demolished Auckland City 10-0, before sealing their spot in the knockout stage with a 2-1 win over Boca Juniors.

Vincent Kompany’s men capped off their group with a 1-0 defeat to Benfica but showed their true colours in another dominant 4-2 win over Flamengo in the last 16.

Having scored 36 goals across their last 11 competitive matches, the Bavarians pose a legitimate threat to PSG – something the Parisians haven’t experienced since their Champions League quarter-final tie with Aston Villa.

Bayern are looking to become the first team in over 15 years to claim five straight victories over PSG, though considering how much the French side have improved, beating the Parisians is far easier said than done.
