The pairing of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City in the Champions League group stages has got everyone licking their lips ahead of a potential match-up between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Keen to leave Juventus, Ronaldo is reportedly sounding out City as a destination, with sources in Italy claiming the Manchester club are willing to commit to a two-year deal for the Portuguese striker.
It sets up the intriguing possibility of the two GOAT contenders going head to head once more in Europe's leading competition and the bookmakers have reacted accordingly.
The 2020/21 champions are 4/6 to win the group.
However, they remain fourth favourites in the outright betting behind PSG, Man City and Bayern Munich (7/1).
Marco Rose's side are now 33/1 after being 40s pre-draw.
Planet Sport Bet spokesperson Scott Allen said it was impossible to look past PSG-Man City when it came to the group stages.
"The meeting of the PSG and Manchester City is obviously the headline news but it shouldn't shape the competition as we expect both to come through the group easily," he said.
The Reds are 9/1 to win back the trophy they last lifted in 2019, while the other English side involved, Manchester United, are 14/1.
United face Europa League conquerors Villarreal, Atalanta and Young Boys in Group F.
