Nottingham Forest v Leicester: Prediction, tips and bet builder as Tricky Trees seek final European push

Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo
Nottingham Forest host rivals Leicester as they aim to snap their winless run and hit the restart button on their pursuit of Champions League football (Sun, 1415 BST).
When the Tricky Trees beat Manchester United at the start of April, it seemed almost inevitable that the club would go on to secure a top five finish and Champions League qualification. Turns out, it’s not that easy.
Nuno Espirito Santo and his men have watched their results fall off a cliff, with Forest picking up four points out of a possible 15 since.
Before the weekend, the Tricky Trees trailed the top five by two points with just three rounds remaining.
This means Santo and his men will have to win all their remaining games and hope that at least one of the teams above them endure an end-of-season hiccup.
Forest are in the midst of a three-match winless run, and they will be looking to snap that against already-relegated Leicester City this Sunday.
With relegation confirmed weeks ago, you’d like to think that the Foxes would enter this game with a certain lack of motivation. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
You can bet your bottom dollar that the Leicester fans would love nothing more than to see their side cost their big rivals potential entry into the Champions League.
Forest haven’t played at the elite European level since the 1980/81 season and their success starved fans would love nothing more than to start planning a whole host of continental away days next season.
However, Leicester are coming into this game on the back of a rare victory, looking to go back-to-back for the first time since October.
The Foxes beat Southampton 2-0 at home, but they will now be looking to overcome their seven-match winless run on the road – one which includes six defeats.

Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side will also contend with a poor head-to-head record, losing three of their last four encounters across all competitions.
Here we pick out some of our best tips for this juicy Premier League meeting, and if you put it into a Betway bet builder you’ll get odds of around 6/1.
Nottingham Forest v Leicester bet builder
Jamie Vardy 1+ shots on target – 17/20
Good luck and please gamble responsibly.
(All odds are correct at time of article publication)
Before Leicester’s victory over Southampton, Van Nistelrooy’s men failed to score a single goal in nine of 10 Premier League outings.
Last weekend’s success against Saints was not only their first win since January, but first Premier League victory by a margin of two or more goals since early December.
The Foxes are now setting their sights on a struggling Nottingham Forest side – one which has conceded goals in six straight outings.
Bearing all that in mind, we’re backing both teams to get on the scoresheet. Despite this, we’re not expecting a full flowing attacking encounter. Instead, we’re going with under 12.5 corners.
In terms of specific players, we’re putting out chips on Jamie Vardy to produce one or more shots on target.
Our last addition to the bet builder concerns Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen. While Forest are not normally the team that goes forward, they don’t have much choice on Sunday as they desperately look for three points.
With that in mind, we’re backing a far more attacking display from the hosts and are backing Hermansen to make 4+ saves.
