Next Brentford manager betting odds: Favourite emerges to take over from departed Thomas Frank

Brentford Set-Piece coach Keith Andrews on the touchline
Brentford are on the lookout for a new head coach after Thomas Frank completed his move to London rivals Tottenham.
The Dane enjoyed a successful nine-year spell with the Bees, taking them up from the Championship and establishing the club as Premier League regulars.
Frank is the second man to lead Brentford to the top tier, and he also holds the record for the most victories in his first 200 games, with 90 to his name.
Under his management, the Bees have been punching well above their weight, and there’s no doubt he will be missed by the club’s supporters.
The club are now looking for a successor and there is certainly no shortage of suitors. Here, we take a closer look at the leading candidates and examine the current odds.
Good luck and please gamble responsibly.
(All odds are correct at time of article publication)
Keith Andrews – 1/4
Former Wolves, Blackburn and Ireland defensive midfielder Keith Andrews is the current favourite for the job.
As set-piece coach for the Bees, Andrews worked close with Frank which, on paper, would make the managerial transition somewhat easier.
The big issue with Andrews is his lack of managerial experience. The 44-year-old has never been a head coach or manager, and stepping up to that role in the Premier League is certainly no picnic.
Francesco Farioli - 7/2
Farioli's Ajax threw away a nine-point lead in the Eredivisie to allow PSV Eindhoven to snatch the title off them on the final day of the season. Unsurprisingly the Italian left the club the following day.
Farioli managed Fatih Karagumurk and Alanyaspor in Turkey, as well as taking Nice to fifth place in Ligue 1 last season. Hardly a CV that's going to get Spurs fans thrilled.
Bit more of a sexier appointment than Andrews, but doesn't know English football and Brentford will need a steady hand to keep them away from a relegation threat.
Kieran McKenna – 7/1
Kieran McKenna got a taste of management in the Premier League after taking Ipswich Town to the elite all the way from League One.
While it only lasted one season, McKenna certainly made a positive impression in the top-flight as he battled against clubs with incomparable resources.
The 39-year-old is an exciting young manager with great potential and Brentford would represent a step-up in his professional career.
Ange Postecoglou - 12/1
Straight swap Frank for Postecoglou?
Do me a favour this isn't Football Manager, this feels like bookies slashing the odds just in case.
Chris Wilder – 20/1
According to the rumour mill, Sheffield United are getting ready to part ways with manager Chris Wilder.
With that in mind, it’s not much of a surprise to see the 57-year-old initially priced at 8/1 for the Brentford job, but that's now fallen to 20s.
Wilder has Premier League experience, both positive and negative. However, he isn’t the sexiest managerial appointment, which makes us think the Bees might not be keen to bring the Yorkshireman to the capital.
Brendan Rodgers – 25/1
Brendan Rodgers previously left Celtic for a Premier League opportunity with Leicester. Would you really put it past him to do the same again?
While the 52-year-old is enjoying tremendous success with the Scottish champions, he must be getting pretty bored by now.
The chance to manage in the Premier League is undoubtedly tempting, but could Rodgers seriously turn his back on Celtic for a second time?
