  • Mohammed Kudus Reveals He Is Now Feeling Settled At West Ham After Fifth Goal Of The Season

Mohammed Kudus reveals he is now feeling settled at West Ham after fifth goal of the season

Mohammed Kudus says he now feels settled at West Ham and believes there is a lot more to come from him.

The Ghana winger took his time to adapt to the Premier League following his £38million switch from Ajax.

But Kudus has now established himself as one of West Ham's key players and scored his fifth goal for the club in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

"It's credit to all the team, my team-mates, the staff, the player care, everyone around the club has helped me to settle in," said the 23-year-old.

"I believe a lot in myself and I'm putting in the effort every single day to be the best I can be.

"It's still the beginning for me and I feel there's a lot more I can offer. I'll just keep working day in, day out to be the best for everyone."

Kudus fired the Hammers into the lead in the 13th minute, finishing off a sweeping move with a low drive into the net.

But a calamitous back-pass from defender Konstantinos Mavropanos gifted a second-half equaliser to Odsonne Edouard.

The French striker now has seven goals this season and Palace boss Roy Hodgson said: “I thought for large periods again he did well.

"He linked things together for us when we were passing the ball quite nicely and he took his goal well.

"I still think he has got more in his locker than we're able to get out at the moment but I think he does have a lot of technical ability."
