Manchester United state Mason Greenwood won't train or play following allegations of domestic abuse

Manchester United issued a statement following allegations of domestic violence, stating that the 20-year-old forward will neither train or play for the club until further notice.

The Premier League club issued the statement after the Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were making enquiries following allegations of domestic violence.

The England forward was accused on Sunday morning of assaulting a woman, to which the police responded by saying they were "aware of images and videos circulating on social media"
Such posts have since been deleted.
They added that they are looking to "establish the full circumstances".
A following statement released by Manchester United read, "Mason Greenwood will not return to training or play matches until further notice."
The club also added that they "do not condone violence of any kind".
Nike, who currently sponsor Greenwood, also addressed the situation.
"We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations and will continue to closely monitor the situation,"
