Kylian Mbappe now just 2/1 to reject Liverpool, Man City and Real Madrid and stay at PSG

Leonardo convinced Mbappe can be persuaded to stay at Parc des Princes and bookies are starting to believe.

One of the stories of 2022 will be Kylian Mbappe - will he stay or will he go?
The Paris Saint-Germain forward had seemed a certainty to be heading to Real Madrid in the New Year, after he rejected numerous contract offers to stay at Parc des Princes.

Real had also seen offers rejected for him in the summer as PSG maintained their belief that they could persuade him to stay.

PSG chief Leonardo has seen nothing to alter his stance since and the bookies are coming around to his way of thinking.

"What to say about Mbappe? Kylian is formidable. He is different, unique. And well, you know what we want… we will see," said Leonardo.

"It's a complicated situation because we'd like him to stay here forever and we have to respect his position. I think there's still a good chance he'll sign a new contract. I believe it's possible.
"People think we say he's the best because we want him to sign a new deal, but that's not the case. It's bigger than what the club wants. At the age of nearly 23, Kylian has got an incredible maturity about him."
Not so long ago, bookies had stopped taking bets on Mbappe, so convinced were they that it was a 'done deal' for him to move to Madrid.
And although moving to Real Madrid is still the favourite outcome at 1/2, it is now just 2/1 for him to stay at PSG.

If you think Mbappe could be persuaded to move to England then you can get 5/1 on Manchester City and 10/1 on Liverpool.

Newcastle, meanwhile, are 35/1 to land Mbappe in January, the same price they are to land his France team-mate Antoine Griezmann.
