ENDURANCE: John Stocker completed a 4.167-mile route every hour for 81 hours, totalling 337 miles, to set a new world record at the Suffolk Backyard Ultra.
Stocker was the last person standing after battling it out with Matthew Blackburn for 80 of the laps. Blackburn for all his efforts got a Did Not Finish.
The next nearest competitor pulled out after 37 hours.
Something incredible happened at the Suffolk Backyard. Matthew Blackburn and John Stoker battled it out for an incredible 80 laps, World Record was smashed before John eventually became the Last Man Standing - 81+ loops, that’s 337.5 miles. Now let that sink in.
