Joe Gelhardt among Leeds United trio to sign new deals at Elland Road

Leeds United have signed new long-term contracts with Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville.

The Premier League outfit have secured the future of Gelhardt until the summer of 2027, while Greenwood and Summerville both signed deals which expire one year earlier.

All three youngsters arrived at Elland Road in 2020 and spent time with the under 23s at Thorp Arch before linking up with the first team.
The trio offer a potent attacking threat, and displayed their abilities together in Premier League 2 Division 2 after firing Leeds to the title and promotion.

Summerville, who joined Leeds from Feyenoord, made his debut last September in the Premier League against Newcastle United. The 20-year-old went on to make seven additional first-team outings.

Greenwood, who arrived at Elland Road from Arsenal's academy, made his senior debut in the FA Cup as Leeds fell to a memorable 3-0 defeat against Crawley Town.
The 20-year-old went on to make seven Premier League appearances, and made his top flight debut in a 4-1 defeat against Arsenal last December.

Gelhardt is the most experienced of the three and became a regular first-team player last season, racking up 20 Premier League outings.

The 20-year-old also netted two goals, one against Chelsea in a 3-2 defeat and one against Norwich in a dramatic 2-1 win.
