Papu Gomez opts for Sevilla over MLS side; Kaku on his way out of New York Red Bulls.

SOCCER: FC Cincinnati had hoped to sign Gomez. However, the Argentina international looks set for a move to Sevilla. Cincinnati had been prepared to offer the attacking midfielder almost $10million a year.

SOCCER: Tomas Pochettino appears to be on his way from Talleres to Austin FC. The midfielder, who turns 25 next month, has made close to 100 top-flight appearances in Argentina.
SOCCER: New York Red Bulls' Kaku has agreed personal terms with Saudi Arabian side Al-Taawoun, securing a three-year deal. The transfer fee has yet to be decided, however.
