  • Gavi'S Praises, Jude Bellingham'S Comeback, And El Clasico Fever

Gavi's praises, Jude Bellingham's comeback, and El Clasico fever

As the first El Clasico of the season looms large, Barcelona midfielder Gavi shared his admiration for Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni in an exclusive interview with DAZN.

This eagerly anticipated showdown could have significant implications for the La Liga title race.

Gavi, the 2022 Golden Boy, didn't hold back in expressing his respect for Bellingham, acknowledging his familiarity with the Englishman's skills dating back to his time at Borussia Dortmund. Gavi commented, "He is showing his level at Madrid, but of course, he has many other very complete players, and you don't have to look at one but at his whole team."

Tchouameni also received high praise from Gavi, who referred to him as a "top player" and expressed his admiration for the French midfielder's abilities.

Real Madrid fans had reason to be concerned when doubts arose about Bellingham's availability due to a groin discomfort following their match against SC Braga. However, reassuringly, Bellingham has made a full recovery and confirmed his readiness to face Barcelona.

Reports suggest that both Bellingham and Tchouameni are set to feature in Real Madrid's starting XI for the clash, alongside the experienced Toni Kroos and Fede Valverde in midfield. This configuration would mean that Eduardo Camavinga may miss out on a starting spot.

Meanwhile, Barcelona's manager, Xavi Hernandez, faces a significant challenge as key players like Pedri, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha are uncertain for the El Clasico due to injuries. While there's hope for their availability, the pressing issue is whether they can regain full match fitness in time for this crucial encounter.

Adding to Barcelona's woes, Frenkie de Jong, Jules Kounde, and Sergi Roberto have already been ruled out for the clash against the formidable Real Madrid, further complicating their preparation for the match.
