Fluminense v Al-Hilal: Free Club World Cup tips, predictions, where to watch and bet builder

Marcos Leonardo of Al-Hilal
Two Club World Cup giant killers will battle for a spot in the semi-final as Fluminense and Al-Hilal make the trip to Orlando this Friday night (2000 BST).
While it may not be the most popular tournament that FIFA have ever organised, the Club World Cup has certainly produced its fair share of surprises.
The biggest shock of them all came on Tuesday as Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal dumped Manchester City out of the tournament following a 4-3 victory.
While many scoffed at the result and argued against its importance, for the Saudi club it marked a monumental breakthrough on the global stage.
One day before Al-Hilal’s heroics, Fluminense produced their own giant killing as they eliminated Champions League finalists Inter Milan.
The Brazilian side scored two goals – one at the very start of the game and one at the very end – to secure their spot in the quarter-finals.
Fluminense, who reached the Club World Cup final in the previous edition, will certainly fancy their chances after extending their unbeaten run to 10 games across all competitions.
What’s more, Renato Gaucho’s men have kept a clean sheet in five of their last six, including a couple against European giants in Inter and Borussia Dortmund.
These numbers may look somewhat intimidating, but Al-Hilal will certainly feel confident after becoming the first Asian side in Club World Cup history to defeat European opposition.
The Saudi side also have previous history against Brazilian opposition, losing to Flamengo in the 2019 Club World Cup semi-final, before defeating them three years later.
Here, we take a closer look at Friday’s tasty encounter, picking out some of the best bets along the way.

Fluminense v Al-Hilal best bets
Both teams to score – 13/16
Marcos Leonardo to score anytime – 7/4
Over 7.5 corners – 2/7
Fluminense to score first – 6/5
Fluminense’s long unbeaten run is full of goals, clean sheets and impressive performances, yet despite their recent success, we cannot quite back them in the outright market.
One big reason why is Al-Hilal and their admirable show of resilience shown throughout the tournament, whether it was against Real Madrid in their 1-1 draw, or their incredible 4-3 victory over Manchester City.
While the outcome may be too tough to call, we are backing both teams to get on the scoresheet, and over 7.5 corners.
It may seem like a strange choice of bets considering it has only landed once across Fluminense’s last six matches, but with Al-Hilal capable of rattling the net against European giants, they should be able to do the same against their Brazilian rivals.
Fluminense to score first is another addition to our bet builder. The 2023 Club World Cup finalists have scored the opener in four of their last six games, and we’re backing that trend to continue.
Lastly, we like the look of Marcos Leonardo in the anytime goalscorer market. Al-Hilal have had more Brazilian goalscorers in this tournament than Fluminense, and Leonardo has been one of their most potent having scored three goals across his last two matches.
