SOCCER: Portland Timbers forward Jeremy Ebobisse was the subject of multiple approaches as the transfer window closed.

Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht and German second division side Dusseldorf initiated negotiations, while Belgian side Zulte Waregem submitted a loan offer for the USMNT player.
