February 23 US Paper Talk: Brighton striker makes unexpected return to FC Cincinnati

Jurgen Locadia back with the Orange and Blue for pre-season; Scottish defender turns down MLS move

SOCCER: Jurgen Locadia has returned to FC Cincinnati for pre-season, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The on-loan Brighton striker had been expected to move away during the off-season following Brenner's arrival and his disappointing return of only two goals in 2020.

However, despite being heavily linked with Maccabi Tel Aviv FC and multiple teams having made enquiries, the on-loan Dutchman will be back with the Orange and Blue for 2021.
