Clarence Seedorf says MLS roles for Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira reflect badly on hiring policy in Europe; Magpies midfielder heading to FC Cincinnati.

SOCCER: Clarence Seedorf has slammed the lack of opportunities for black coaches in Europe, questioning why Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry both had to head to MLS to get a chance to manage.

Seedorf has been without a coaching role since being sacked as Cameroon manager in 2019.

The AC Milan and the Netherlands legend said his illustrious career should have afforded him more opportunities and blamed a lack of diversity at the top of the game. (La Gazzetta dello Sport)
