February 2 US Paper Talk: Former Liverpool and England striker eyed up by MLS

Free agent Daniel Sturridge attracting interest; Trinity Rodman teams up with another famous name at Washington Spirit.

SOCCER: Daniel Sturridge is attracting interest from MLS clubs, according to the Daily Mail. The 31-year-old former Liverpool striker remains a free agent after leaving Trabzonspor last summer.

Sturridge, who has made 26 appearances for England, was suspended from soccer for four months in 2020 for breaching betting rules after he was found to have passed on inside information over a potential transfer in January 2018.
Needless to say he'll be keeping his cards close to his chest on his potential destinations this time around.

SOCCER: Trinity Rodman, daughter of basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman, has been provided a famous mentor at Washington Spirit.
