Charlie Lindsay is set to join Derby County after he was released by his former club Rangers, according to reports.

Charlie Lindsay has reportedly agreed on a deal to sign for Derby instead of various Championship sides including Sunderland.

Lindsay, 19, was released by his former club Rangers whom he joined back in 2020 from East Belfast side Glentoran FC.

The Daily Record reports that Lindsay has agreed to join Derby after a successful two-week trial with the League One outfit.
Huddersfield Town, Hull City and Blackburn Rovers had also been sniffing around but the Rams have moved quickly to snatch his signature.
The Northern Ireland Under-21 midfielder, who quit Ibrox this summer, will put pen to paper at the end of the week.
Lindsay will initially join up with Derby's Under-21 squad with the hope of kicking on and making the move up to Paul Warne's first team.
Having not been able to break into the first team at Rangers, he will instead seek to make his senior debut with the Rams.
Derby have already brought in Sonny Bradley, Joe Ward, Curtis Nelson and Callum Elder this summer in their bid to get back to the Championship.
The club are also set to bolster their attacking options after the departure of David McGoldrick, who joined Notts County at the end of his contract at Pride Park.
TEAMtalk have claimed that Derby are considering Huddersfield Town veteran forward Jordan Rhodes as his replacement.
