Rice could head to Man Utd in potential Lingard West Ham swap; Leeds join Aguero race

Transfer gossip has taken a turn on Friday, with a shock contender to sign Sergio Aguero reported, as well as Barcelona's potential transfer list and a way for Declan Rice to move to Manchester.

Lingard could be makeweight in Rice move to Old Trafford

With several reports of West Ham United's interest in signing Manchester United's Jesse Lingard on a permanent basis, the Red Devils are thought to be exploring the possibility of a possible swap-plus-cash deal to bring Declan Rice to the club.

The Athletic report that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on bringing the 22-year-old England midfielder to the club, with Lingard also finding his spark once again after joining the Hammers on loan in January.

West Ham boss David Moyes has previously said that it would take 'Bank of England money' to allow Rice to leave the club, but the prospect of bringing Lingard to the London Stadium may make the move more affordable for Man United.

Lingard and West Ham meet Leicester City on Sunday (14:05 kick-off BST), and Sky Bet have boosted the odds of Lingard and Kelechi Iheanacho to both score in the match to 11/1.

Leeds emerging as shock contenders for Aguero

Leeds United have reportedly entered the race to sign Sergio Aguero in the summer, according to 90min.com.

The Argentine legend will be leaving Manchester City at the end of the season after a decade at the club, and he is not short of suitors for his next move.

Leeds have had their interest piqued in Aguero by an apparent desire to sell current striker Rodrigo in the summer, after a disappointing debut campaign at Elland Road - hoping to cash in on the Spaniard to help fund Aguero's potential arrival at the club, with the possibility of joining compatriot Marcelo Bielsa at the Whites.

The bookies still believe Aguero is bound for Chelsea or Barcelona (at 9/4 and 5/2 respectively with Sky Bet). Leeds have not yet made anyone's list of Aguero's potential next move, but that may change in the coming days and weeks if this report takes hold.

Coutinho 'set to leave Barca' in the summer

Barcelona and Brazil playmaker Philippe Coutinho is said to be on Barca's transfer list for the summer, report the Mirror.

Coutinho, 28, spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich and won a treble with the German club, helping Bayern to the Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB-Pokal (German Cup) trophies.
The former Liverpool man has made only 14 appearances for Barca this season, though, and he heads a list of nine players reported to be put up for sale by the club in the summer - which also includes the likes of Samuel Umtiti, Miralem Pjanic and Martin Braithwaite.

Betfair have a return to Inter Milan priced as Coutinho's most likely next destination at 4/1, with PSG at 6/1 and Juventus at 8/1.
