Chelsea vs West Ham: Predictions, tips and bet builder as Cole Palmer shines and Hammers score

We're betting on Cole Palmer to cause West Ham more problems when the sides meet in a London derby in the Premier League on Monday, February 3.
Graham Potter's arrival looks like it may of turned West Ham's fortunes around, but Monday's trip to Stamford Bridge will be his biggest test yet.
Tonight's Premier League bet builder is priced at 5/1 at the time of writing.
Chelsea vs West Ham bet builder
Cole Palmer: Over 1.5 shots on target - 7/10
Edson Alvarez to be booked - 6/4
Both teams to score
Chelsea are a wafer-thin price to come out on top at Stamford Bridge, though we’re not convinced it will be as easy as advertised.
Sure, their superior attacking talent and some of West Ham’s performances against the better sides suggest they could be in trouble. On the other hand, they may be more capable than we think.
They matched Villa stride for stride in a 1-1 draw at Villa Park last week, less than two weeks after Potter led them to a 3-2 win over high-flying Fulham.
Even before his arrival made the Hammers more competitive, it’s worth noting they found the net in nine of 10 matches.
The Blues may have a potent attack but they’ve kept out just one of their previous 10 Premier League opponents and conceded against all but one visitors to Stamford Bridge this campaign.
Cole Palmer: Over 1.5 shots on target
There’s little point backing Palmer in the shots at goal market, as you have to bet on him having at least four cracks at goal to get a worthwhile price.
Given his impressive level of shooting accuracy and his recent record against West Ham, we’ll back him to test Lukasz Fabianski at least twice.
The England international scored in each of his previous meetings with West Ham and had a hand in some of the eight goals Chelsea scored across those fixtures.
Edson Alvarez to be booked
West Ham will need to stand up and fight to leave Stamford Bridge with a result, a big part of which will be Edson Alvarez putting in a performance.
He’s seen yellow eight times so far this season and has become Potter’s hatchetman, averaging four fouls per 90 minutes since the new boss arrived.
He’ll be tasked with keeping tabs on Cole Palmer who is fouled twice per game on average.
