  • Ex Burnley And Rangers Man Scott Arfield Joins Old Teammate In MLS

Ex-Burnley and Rangers man Scott Arfield joins old teammate in MLS

Ex-Huddersfield, Burney and Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield will be reunited with Ashley Westwood at MLS club Charlotte FC.

Scott Arfield, 34, has turned down advances from Championship clubs in order to join Charlotte FC.

The Scot made over 500 appearances in English and Scottish football, featuring for Burnley in the Premier League and Rangers in the SPL.
Arfield netted 43 times in five seasons with the Scottish runners-up and took just 14 minutes to score against Chelsea on his top flight debut.
According to reports, he declined offers from more than one EFL Championship club to make the move.
He'll link up with ex-Burnley teammate and current Charlotte club captain Ashley Westwood.
He could also come up against ex-Rangers teammate James Sands when his new club visit New York City FC on July 6.
