Timo Werner returns to RB Leipzig training after missing World Cup injured

Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have been boosted by the return of forward Timo Werner to training having been side-lined with injury since early November.

The 26-year-old injured his ankle in the 16th minute of RB Leipzig's 4-0 Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk on 2 November and was forced to miss the 2022 World Cup in Qatar due the injury.
RB Leipzig get their Bundesliga campaign back on track when they lock horns with Bayern Munich on Friday, 20 January.
So far this season, the German international has played 16 games for Leipzig with nine goals and four assists.
