Bundesliga news: Gladbach doing their best to hold on to Marcus Thuram and Ramy Bensebaini

Borussia Monchengladbach are determined to extend Marcus Thuram and Ramy Bensebaini's contracts, according to sporting director Roland Virkus.
Both players' contracts are due to expire at the end of the season, which means there's a real risk that they could depart on free transfers.
The Bundesliga outfit are, however, doing their utmost behind the scenes to ensure that eventuality does not come to pass.
"I can't promise that both will stay with us beyond the season. But we will try to talk to both of them again," Virkus told Sky Germany.
"We will try everything, but there may also be a point in time when we just can't keep up when it comes to sums that Borussia simply can't afford."
