Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae has signed for Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich have officially announced the signing of South Korean centre-back Kim Min-jae from Napoli.
Kim emerged as one of the premier defenders in European football last season, playing a vital role in Napoli's Serie A triumph and attracting significant interest from various clubs.
Manchester United pursued a deal for Kim initially, but negotiations regarding personal terms progressed slowly, enabling Bayern to seize the opportunity and finalise an agreement last month.
To secure Kim's services, Bayern activated his €50million release clause, ensuring a successful transfer.
Kim will fill the void left by Lucas Hernandez, who recently departed from Paris Saint-Germain in a comparable deal.
The 26-year-old Kim has experienced a remarkable ascent from relative obscurity to becoming a well-known figure in the football world in just a few years.
Kim began his career in his home country before moving to Beijing Guoan in China in 2019. Two years later, he made the leap to Europe, joining Fenerbahce for a transfer fee of €3million.
Impressing during a fruitful season in Turkey, Kim earned a lucrative €18million move to Napoli.
