Bruno Fernandes next club: Latest odds for Man United captain's next transfer

Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes
After the disappointment of a Europa League final defeat and a shocking Premier League season, could Man United skipper Bruno Fernandes be on his way to pastures new?
Despite a shocking season that has seen Manchester United plunge to the depths of 15th-place finish in the Premier League, Bruno Fernandes has still performed well and if he decides to move on from Manchester there'll be no shortage of suitors.
Reports in the media revealed that Fernandes was considering a lucrative offer to join Saudi Pro-League side Al-Hilal, with a £700,000-a-week wage.
But the Manchester United captain rejected the move to 'stay at the highest level' and many believe that statement will keep him at Old Trafford for at lease another season, considering his contract runs until 2027.
However, those cheeky bookies don't want to totally close the book on what would now be a surprise move. You never can be certain on anything in football.
Here we take a look at the odds for Fernandes' next club, which are all correct at the time of this article's last update
Any Saudi team - 5/1
The bookies were offering short prices for Fernandes to be switch rainy Manchester for sunnier climes in Saudi, with odds of around 4/6.
Saudi Arabia have been launching an assault on some big names in recent years as they bid to build the profile of the sport in the country ahead of the 2034 World Cup.
But knocking back Al-Hilal at the start of June, pushed his odds to join any Saudi club back to 5/1.

Real Madrid - 12/1
Real will likely be in the market for a new midfield maestro this summer, with Luka Modric leaving after a trophy-laden spell in the Spanish capital.
Could Fernandes be their man? The finances may opt them to go for a younger option, but we imagine if Fernandes were to be offered the chance to move to Real he'd take the plunge.
Bookies think it's an outside chance and there's odds of around 12/1 for him to join the European heavyweights.
Bayern Munich - 16/1
Bayern target Florian Wirtz appears to be heading Liverpool's way, so the German giants are reportedly interested in stepping up their Fernandes pursuit.
This feels like a bit of media spin, but Bayern are waving goodbye to one ageing midfielder in Thomas Muller, do they need to fill a hole?
Barcelona - 20/1
Could Fernandes have his head turned by the prospect of Catalonian sunshine, maybe, but this one is an outside chance.
Barcelona under Hansi Flick have a stacked midifeld with the likes of Frenkie De Jong and Pedri being key parts of their squad.
The bookies are right to have this potential move at around 20/1 as Barca are a young team at the moment and they'd be more lilkely to go for a younger option if they wanted a midfielder this summer.
PSG - 33/1
Another move we can't see happening is one to the French capital, as they have moved to a new transfer strategy over the years.
Given the likes of Neymar, Messi and Mbappe failed to get them that elusive European title, they've opted for a different approach focussed on youth and it has brought them their first Champions League trophy.
Fernandes is 30 and PSG will likely deem it as an investment that isn't worthwhile given the wages and fee he'll command, with younger targets likely to bring better value.
At around 33/1 this is a bet that's worth avoiding.
Another Premier League club
This is ranked as extremely unlikely by the bookies and we can see why given the restraints of PSR.
Clubs in the Premier League are bound by the rules and there are not many who could afford the fee and wages for the deal.
The bookies have Man United's closest rivals, Liverpool and Man City at 66/1, and there's no way that United would sell to either of them.
