We have picked out a humongous nine-fold Championship both teams to score acca for Tuesday, April 8.

Most of the attention this Tuesday night will be on the Champions League, but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about the Championship.

With promotion and relegation battles set to go the distance, there’s certainly a lot to play for. Here, we take a closer look at nine games as we build a tasty nine-fold BTTS accumulator.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

    Championship BTTS acca

    Blackburn v Sheffield Wednesday – No (17/20)

Bristol City v West Brom – No (17/20)

    Derby v Burnley – No (11/20)

    Norwich v Sunderland – Yes (7/10)

    Preston v Cardiff – No (4/5)

    Sheffield United v Millwall – No (3/5)

    Stoke v Luton – Yes (17/20)

    Watford v Hull – No (19/20)

    Middlesbrough v Leeds – Yes (4/5)

Blackburn v Sheffield Wednesday (1945 GMT)

Two clubs facing major issues off the field are unlikely to put together a high-octane encounter.

While there are ongoing money issues going on at the Yorkshire club, Rovers fans recently warned their clubs directors against attending matches for the remainder of the season.

To make matters worse, both sides are in poor form, with Blackburn losing their last five and the Owls winning two of their last eight.

Bristol City v West Brom (1945 GMT)

The head-to-head record says it all in this one. BTTS has landed once in previous nine meetings, and not at all in the last six.

West Brom are struggling for goals at the moment having failed to find the back of the net in their last two games. With that in mind, it’s a BTTS no from us.

    Derby v Burnley (1945 GMT)

Of all the teams in the Championship that is least likely to produce a BTTS result, it’s Burnley.

The Clarets boast an outstanding defensive record, conceding just 12 goals across their 40 Championship games this season. Derby, who are fighting to avoid relegation, are unlikely to change that.

    Norwich v Sunderland (1945 GMT)

Sunderland’s push for promotion sees them travel to Norwich in a fixture which could very well produce serious goals.

A total of 119 goals have been scored between both teams in the Championship this season. What's more, Norwich have found the back of the net in all of their previous eight matches, while Sunderland have scored in eight of their last 10. Clearly, there’s goal scoring potential in this one.

    Preston v Cardiff (1945 GMT)

Preston against Cardiff is not normally a fixture that tends to deliver in the goal department.

Five of the last six head-to-head meetings failed to produce BTTS goods, with the Lilywhites winning the last two encounters 2-0. With that in mind, it’s a BTTS no from us.

Sheffield United v Millwall (1945 GMT)

Sheffield United’s pursuit of promotion took a significant hit when the Blades were beaten by Oxford at the weekend.

Chris Wilder’s men return to Bramall Lane this midweek for a clash against a Millwall side that have been relatively gun-shy away from the Den.

Alex Neil’s side failed to score at Leeds and Sunderland, last scoring an away goal at Watford a month ago.

    Stoke v Luton (1945 GMT)

Stoke against Luton has the makings of a close game as both battle for Championship survival.

Both these teams have been rather consistent when it comes to scoring goals in recent games.

With that in mind, we’re backing both to get on the scoresheet in this high-stakes encounter.

    Watford v Hull (1945 GMT)

Watford come into Tuesday’s game having won just one of their last six games, scoring goals in three of those matches.

Hull’s results have improved but we’re still going against BTTS in this one.

    Middlesbrough v Leeds (2000 GMT)

Recent Middlesbrough and Leeds encounters have provided pure goalscoring drama.

A total of 19 goals across the last four matches is a trend that certainly excites us when building this BTTS acca.

There’s a lot at stake as both teams battle for position in this promotion race. With that in mind, we’re backing goals galore at the Riverside.
