Saturday’s BTTS acca
Brentford vs Liverpool - yes - 9/20
West Ham vs Crystal Palace - yes - 4/7
West Brom vs Stoke - yes - 17/20
Brentford vs Liverpool (Sat 1500 GMT)
Brentford is the place to go for goals. Four of the Bees' last five league games have seen BTTS land, and there's an average of 4.2 goals scored per game.
The Bees have only failed to score in one home league game, while Liverpool are a bit leaky at the moment; they've only kept two clean sheets in the last nine and those were against Accrington and a terrible West Ham side.
West Ham United vs Crystal Palace (Sat 1500 GMT)
West Ham manager Graham Potter will need a lot more time with his new defence if they are going to start learning how to keep regular clean sheets.
The Irons' defending has been laughable this season, and they've regularly been cut to ribbons by all and sundry to the sound of circus music...or did I dream that?
West Ham last kept a clean sheet against Southampton, four games ago, but were incredibly fortunate that the Saints had left their shooting boots locked in a cupboard.
They are already showing signs of a lot more defensive organisation under Potter, but still let Fulham's Alex Iwobi score twice from nothing balls into the box on Tuesday night.
Palace are more solid at the back, but have still seen BTTS land in five of their last seven matches.
What is most important here is BTTS has been successful in 14 of the last 15 meetings between these two sides.
Derby vs Watford (Sat 1500 GMT)
Play-off chasing Watford, and their negative goal difference, travel to a Derby side looking nervously over their shoulders at the relegation trapdoor.
Like a sheet at a backpackers' hostel, Derby have been unable to find a clean one in six matches. Watford are even worse they not found one since November - nine games ago. Don't stay in that hostel.
Watford have been poor on the road recently, with no win in seven across all competitions, but have rustled up at least one goal in all but one of those games.
BTTS has landed in nine of the last ten meetings between the two teams.
Luton vs Preston (Sat 1500 GMT)
Debut game in charge for new Luton boss Matt Bloomfield and his first job will be to stop the Hatters conceding - they are without a clean in their last 11 matches.
Apart from the 1-0 defeat to Norwich on New Year's Day, Luton have scored in every single home game this season and the new manager bounce should give them enough oomph to grab at least one here.
Preston are rich in BTTS success recently with it landing in six of their previous seven games. They've also scored in ten consecutive games across all competitions.
West Brom vs Stoke (Sat 1500 GMT)
Remember when West Brom were motoring along nicely and looked like a good bet for promotion? No, neither can I.
Now they are a club without a manager, who seem to mainly deal in draws, though I am prepared to apologise if Tony Mowbray takes the hotseat and drags them back up the table.
Importantly for us they do tend to score and concede in equal measure. The Baggies haven't kept a clean sheet in their previous five games, but did score in all of those matches.
Stoke are so dull, their last three league matches saw a grand total of just one goal.
Granted that's three league clean sheets on the bounce for the Potters, but it's the head-to-heads that appeal as BTTS has landed in the last five matches between the two sides, including the Baggies 2-1 win back in late August.
Sheffield United vs Norwich (Sat 1500 GMT)
Christmas and New Year was unkind to Sheffield United's usually solid defence and the injured Harry Souttar has been a big miss. They've not kept a clean sheet in five games across all competitions.
Norwich aren't the best away from home, but have seen BTTS land in five of their last six league matches.
