Birmingham complete the signing of former Derby County defender from Werder Bremen

Lee Buchanan
Birmingham City have completed their latest signing ahead of the new Championship season.
Birmingham have signed defender Lee Buchanan from Werder Bremen for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
Buchanan, 22, who made 21 Bundesliga appearances last season after joining Bremen from Derby in July last year, has agreed a five-year deal with the Sky Bet Championship club.
He told Blues' official website: "I'm really excited. I can't wait to get going. It is something that I wanted to do, come back to England and I think I have found the perfect club to go and perform and help the team.
"I would say I am fast, have a good left foot, good one-v-one defending, and I like to get forward."
Buchanan, who made 75 appearances in all competitions for Derby after progressing through their academy, is Blues boss John Eustace's ninth summer signing.
