Bayern Munich have witnessed the return of their dynamic attacking pair, Thomas Muller and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, to training following their recovery from injury setbacks.
Bayern Munich attacking duo Thomas Muller and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting marked their awaited return to the training grounds, rekindling hopes after their respective spells on the sidelines due to injuries.
As confirmed on FCBayern.com, "Promising tidings at FC Bayern! Thomas Müller and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting were able to seamlessly integrate into select team exercises on Wednesday afternoon. A wave of cheers and applause greeted the duo as they kicked off the session in high spirits. Müller's recent absence resulted from muscular discomfort in his left hip flexor, while Choupo-Moting tended to a knee joint ailment."
Unfortunately, their resurgence arrives too late for inclusion in the DFL-Supercup clash against RB Leipzig scheduled this upcoming Saturday. However, optimism prevails that their absence won't extend far into the Bundesliga season, kickstarting for Bayern on August 18 against Werder Bremen.
Amid Bayern's transfer business endeavours, Muller and Choupo-Moting aspire to showcase that the squad's attacking prowess remains intact. Both players have impressively spearheaded Bayern's front line in the previous season, with Choupo's goal-scoring finesse harmonizing with Muller's adeptness in creating opportunities and hitting the target.
While Bayern target potential transfers, including the pursuit of Tottenham's Harry Kane or Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic, the outcome of these prospective ventures remains shrouded in uncertainty.
