Barcelona's young talents Alejandro Balde and Lamine Yamal set to extend contracts

Both Balde and Yamal, products of Barcelona's esteemed youth academy, are currently in the final year of their existing contracts. Clubs across Europe have been closely monitoring the situation, hoping to capitalize on any potential opportunities.

However, Deco has quelled any apprehensions among Barcelona faithful, emphasizing that contract extensions for Balde and Yamal are well underway. In a recent press conference, he stated, "The two renewals of Balde and Lamine Yamal are already on track. You will surely have news in the coming days."

Earlier in the summer, reports surfaced indicating that an agreement had already been reached with left-back sensation Balde for a lucrative extension. The 19-year-old has already established himself as a vital starter for the team, and Barcelona are eager to reward his stellar performances with a substantial new deal, which is expected to be finalized shortly.

In the case of Yamal, who turned 16 in July, he became eligible for a senior extension only recently. There are strong indications that a comprehensive agreement on a new contract is imminent. Due to his young age, Yamal's contract can be for a maximum of three years.
