Barcelona rest players for Champions League game at Viktoria Plzen

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez has confirmed that goalkeeper Inaki Pena and midfielder Pablo Torre will start in the Champions League match at FC Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic on Tuesday night.

La Blaugrana's fate in Group C has already been decided prior to the match.

Barcelona will end third in Group C no matter the result, for the second season in a row.
Xavi will now rest a number of his big-name players including Sergio Busquets and Robert Lewandowski for the match.

This is ahead of the two La Liga matches before the season has a break for the FIFA World Cup which gets underway from 20 November until 12 December in Qatar.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Xavi has confirmed that both Pena and Torre will both start at Doosan Arena.
This will be the 23-year-old Pena's first game for Barcelona this season with Torre having only come on as a substitute recently in a few games.
