England resume their World Cup qualifying campaign this Saturday when they take on Andorra in Barcelona (1700 BST).

Manager Thomas Tuchel told fans to be ‘patient’ and warned them not to ‘over expect’ as his side square off against a team currently ranked 173rd in the world.

Those aren’t the words England fans wanted to hear, especially with their team expected to win in comfortable fashion. Then again, the German boss will be forgiven for being overly respectful if his men deliver on Saturday’s lofty expectations.

It’s not long ago since Tuchel marked the start of his new managerial chapter with a couple of solid victories over Albania and Latvia.

Two wins, five goals and two clean sheets marked a strong start to the new era for the national team, though the German boss won’t be getting carried away just yet.

Andorra is not exactly a step up in opposition considering the Tricolors have never qualified for a major tournament and have never scored a single goal in six meetings with England.

Koldo Alvarez and his men are not expected to pose much of a threat, but the fixture does offer the Tuchel an opportunity to build on his impressive start.

While getting the three points is the number one objective, there’s no doubt that some of England’s fringe players will be looking to get in on the action and catch the managers attention.

Morgan Gibbs-White, Morgan Rogers, Curtis Jones, Trevoh Chalobah, Noni Madueke are just some of the names who will be itching to make an impact.

Whatever approach Tuchel decides to take, his men will be fully expected to extend England’s spectacular record in this competition.

The Three Lions are unbeaten in 33 World Cup qualifying matches, winning 25 of them.

The goals market is always a good place to start whenever England take on the likes of Andorra.

The two nations last met in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, with the Three Lions winning 4-0 at home and 5-0 away.

We are expecting the same outcome and recommend adding an England victory by four or more goals to your acca at around the even money mark.

If you are looking for better odds, you can always go with the over 4.5 goals bet at around the 5/4 mark.

With Andorra set to park the bus and do the majority of the ball-chasing, we are backing the hosts to pick up over 3.5 bookings. We’re also backing a penalty to be awarded at the current odds of 17/10.
