Haaland is boxed into the left corner flag, but he doesn't bunker down there, he swivels to cross and wins a corner… and does the same with De Bruyne by his side, and they win another corner… but this time Leeds win the ball and push upfield, only for a loose, long ball to go out for a City throw.

SUBS: Silva replaces Alvarez as City look to retain more possession as the match draws to a close… although no doubt more soap opera drama is to follow!

GOAL, LEEDS UNITED, RODRIGO! 2-1; What a counter-attack! Rodrigo gets a bouncing ball on the edge of the box and buries it past Ederson, despite some attention from City defenders. Within 60 seconds the score went from a probable 3-0 to 2-1! Welcome to the Premier League!

FULL-TIME, MAN CITY 2-1 LEEDS. Something of an easy three points for City… until the last quarter of an hour when it became squeaky bum time. The main thing to come out of this is City are now four points ahead of Arsenal having each played 34 games. If Arsenal lose tomorrow and City win against Everton next week they will have secured the title. For Leeds, they would have loved a point after their flourish at the end… but perhaps even more important is the belief that they might take from this match that they have the ability to stay up. Thanks for sharing the action with us… and enjoy the rest of your sporting weekend.
