FULL-TIME, MAN CITY 1-0 CHELSEA. A blue wave sweeps across the pitch as the fans invade the pitch, just like in the year of Aguerooooooooooo! City have shut out Chelsea yet again and, more importantly, they are about to lift the Premier League trophy for the third year in a row, and five out of six! Worthy champions, a great team… Chelsea gave a good account of themselves for parts of the game but light years away from their glory years. Well done City, first one ticked off… stay with us for the next few weeks as we see if City can turn a single into a double… and then a treble! CLOSE! Chelsea buzzing around the City box, cross come through for Azpilicueta at the near post who slides in but Foden it there to guide it just wide of the post for a corner… and the Chelsea man rubs shoulders with Foden and then Haaland. Corner comes in and Chalobah rises high to header but it's over the crossbar. And is that the final whistle…?

Chelsea feed the ball upfield, but City's midfield is packed… Mudryk bursts into the box and tips the ball over a defender… but it's high and easy for Ortega to collect. We have about 30 seconds of extra time left on the clock…

City passing again, looking to rack up another goal for anyone in light blue…

City effortlessly work the ball around the park… but Chukwuemeka steals possession, rushes the ball up to the City box, feeds Mudryk who does a double step-over and then slashes his shot on goal but it's way over the bar. Great counter… although Chelsea needed to bury that one.

City work the ball back upfield as Foden is named Man of the Match.

Good run by De Bruyne and he wins a corner, which he will take while Haaland share words in the middles of the box with Azpilicueta… Haaland wins the header, there's a shot on goal, ball rolls to Alvarez who slams a shot in but its high, wide, and handsome. 

SUBS: Havertz makes way for Pulisic.

Haaland is put forward but Chelsea concede the corner and push City back, but the home side works the ball ball back upfield.

SUBS: Loftus-Cheek and Hall make way for Chukwuemeka and Khoulibaly for Chelsea.
