Villa outstanding in the second half, pulled back in the second half as Liverpool woke up and went on the offensive, but hit too many shots straight to Martinez. But great entertain, great skills and a great way for Firminho and Milner to bid goodbye to Anfield. Great Premier League action, hope you enjoyed it, and hope you have a smashing sporting weekend.

Liverpool push forward again, win another corner… the ball rolls out to Elliott… he curls a left-footed shot on goal… but once again Liverpool's shots on target are also mostly on Martinez. For the amount of chances they have had they certainly haven't tested the Villa keeper.

Villa get the memo and push up on attack, but the Liverpool defence close them down. This looks like a high drama final five minutes!

Liverpool seek blood, winning a corner, and forcing Villa to turn the ball around for a corner twice… Milner crosses in for Salah on the byline… but his volley is soft and easily collected by Martinez.
