FULL-TIME! CHELSEA 0-2 REAL MADRID (agg 0-4). Chelsea are out, their last chance of a trophy this season gone… and a very powerful Real Madrid side slide into the semi-final as they attempt to retain their title. Real showed all night their power and strength, even without resorting to their brilliant best… while Chelsea just lacked idea, direction or the finishing touch, which will frustrate everyone in the squad as they put in plenty of effort. Although Chelsea will feel battered and bruised - and frustrated that (over the two legs) they had enough good chances to have pushed Real to the wire - they will also secretly be grateful that Real weren't at their clinical best, as this tie could easily have ended in a far bigger defeat for the 2020/21 champions!

Sterling on a lung-busting run trying to break the Real defence, but he's closed down by a solid wall. It's been a really strong performance by Real tonight… perhaps not spectacular, but certainly strong. They've given Chelsea almost nothing all night.
