FULL-TIME, ARGENTINA 1-2 SAUDI ARABIA. What an absolutely astonishing game of football! Argentina totally dominated the first half and had the ball in the back of the next five times, but their 1-0 half-time lead was flipped into a 2-1 scoreline in a frantic five minutes shortly after the break. Two superbly taken opportunistic goals saw new life breathed into the Saudi Arabia side who then dominated the remaining half an hour of football. Argentina threw everything at them but the Saudi Arabian side seemed to evolve into a whole new team. It was breathless football, breathtaking, record-breaking.. and it's going to give all the other underdogs in this tournament the confidence to give it a go… and that's great news for fans.
