There are so many arguments for and against; from the number of goals scored, all the way to stamina, performance and accuracy. It might not be possible to put a crown on the number one player of all time, but in this article, we'll certainly give it a good go.
Lionel Messi
With a salary of over 40 million dollars and currently boasting 803 goals throughout the course of 1018 games, Lionel Messi is certainly a contender for the best football player in the world.

Not only is he an avid striker, but he's also incredibly skilled on the ball, capable of out-pacing, dribbling, performing tricks and shooting at a distance.
