Market Movers: Ronaldo now joint-favourite to be Premier League top goal scorer

Cristiano Ronaldo's Old Trafford homecoming resulted in two goals, not just the expected 'one' the Portuguese forward had modestly tipped himself to bag.

After a dream start to his second spell at Manchester United, Planet Sport Bet have moved quickly to slash Ronaldo's odds from 5/1 to 5/2 to be the Premier League leading scorer this season.

However, the Portuguese forward is not all alone at the top of the goalscorer's tree. Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku is also the 5/2 joint favourite after his two goals against Aston Villa.

It's bad news for poor old Harry Kane though.

Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur, Premier League, Crystal Palace

It already seems like a lifetime ago that he was being touted as the next big money move to Manchester City. But on Saturday he cut a forlorn figure trying to lead the line at Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace whacked three past Hugo Lloris at the other end of the pitch.

Kane usually has a bad start to the season, but bookies think this could get worse and have pushed him out from 6/1 to 9/1 after another goalless 90 minutes.

Premier League title odds

After winning on Saturday, Manchester United's title odds have been clipped from 13/2 to 11/2. The victory came against a poor Newcastle side, imagine what will happen to their odds if they beat one of the 'big six'.

Liverpool's title odds also shortened from 5/1 to 11/2 after a 3-0 away win over Leeds United, while Manchester City shifted out slightly to 5/4 from 11/10.

Chelsea remain unchanged at 5/2.

Premier League relegation odds

No big surprise to see Norwich already struggling at the foot of the table, and Planet Sport Bet doesn't hold much hope for them either.

The Canaries are now 4/7 from 4/6 to be relegated.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are out to 9/4 from 6/5 after beating Spurs 3-0. Amazing what a morale boosting London derby win can do.

First to ten Premier League goals odds

Lukaku's brace against Aston Villa now makes the Belgian favourite in the First To 10 Goals market, into 4/1 from 11/2.

Good old Ronaldo is also lurking dangerously in that market too, down to 5/1 from 10/1.

Have they decided who is going to take the penalties at Manchester United yet?
