Neil Robertson dumped out of European Masters in Nuremberg by Wu Yize

Seventh seed Neil Robertson was stunned 5-3 by China's Wu Yize in qualifying for the 2023 European Masters.

Neil Robertson was the surprise exit at the European Masters as he slipped to defeat in the qualifying round in Nuremberg.
The 2010 world champion, seeded seventh in Germany, lost 5-3 to Wu Yize of China as the remaining top seeds made it through.
Ronnie O'Sullivan is absent after pulling out through illness but Kyren Wilson, Mark Selby, Judd Trump, Mark Allen, Luca Brecel and Shaun Murphy all reached the first round proper.
In the last 64, John Higgins eased to a 5-1 victory over Dylan Emery.
Ross Muir's win 5-3 win against Joe Perry and Allan Taylor's 5-0 hammering of Snooker Shoot-Out champion Hossein Vafaei were the notable upsets at that stage of the competition.
