Judd Trump sees off Mark Selby to reach Champion of Champions final

Judd Trump secured a return to the Cazoo Champion of Champions final after seeing off Mark Selby 6-3 in Bolton.
Trump, who beat John Higgins to claim the 2021 title, posted breaks of 89 and 74 en route to leading Selby 3-1 at the mid-session interval.
Selby subsequently brought things level at 3-3, before Trump took advantage of the Leicester cueman seeing the black bounce out of the pocket in the seventh frame, making a break of 83 to go back in front.
Trump then registered the only century break of the contest, a 114 as he claimed the eighth frame, before adding the ninth to seal his place in Sunday's final, where he will face either Ronnie O'Sullivan or Fan Zhengyi.
