John Higgins out of British Open after being stunned by Robbie Williams

England's John Higgins was the latest shock exit from the British Open after he was beaten 4-1 by Robbie Williams

Williams raced into a 3-0 lead before Higgins smashed the first century of the game with a 116 break.

But world number 47 Williams ended all hopes of a comeback with a century of his own to wrap up a comfortable victory.

Kyren Wilson recorded the 400th century of his career as he thrashed Mark Allen 4-0.

A run of 121 on the second frame helped the Englishman progress through to the third round.

Four-time world champion Mark Selby survived a scare as he came from two frames down to beat Chinese world number 52 Tian Pengfei 4-2

Mark Williams also came from behind to beat Gary Wilson 4-2 while Hossein Vafaei booked his place in the next round with a win over Yuan Sijun.
