Mark Allen reached the Champion of Champions final after beating John Higgins 6-2.
The world number four will face Judd Trump after he overcame Barry Hawkins 6-3 on Friday.
Allen battled past Higgins as an ultimately convincing win capped a tactical battle.
Allen levelled with a 91 after losing the first frame and moved 2-1 ahead but Higgins hit back in the fourth frame with a break of 68 to level at the interval.
Several snookers left Higgins struggling in the fifth frame and Allen moved into a 4-2 lead, with a break of 102 in the sixth.
A costly miss on a red from Higgins gifted Allen the chance to move into a 5-2 lead and a break of 77 sealed the victory.
