In the final event before a two-week hiatus, the UFC's latest fight night provides a crucial matchup in the women's bantamweight division.
Starring in her second fight since returning, Miesha Tate headlines against Ketlen Vieira in a possible preview for the next contender in the bantamweight division.
There's also plenty of fights down the card for fans to get excited about too. Planet Sport will take you through our betting tips for UFC Fight Night: Vieira vs Tate via Planet Sport Bet.
Ketlen Vieira vs Miesha Tate
This main event has the cliche of veteran versus newcomer.
Miesha Tate is entering her second bout since returning from retirement, while Ketlen Viera is hoping a win will catapult her into being the number one contender at bantamweight.
Vieira began her UFC journey back in 2016 and strung together a lengthy winning streak. The Brazilian dominated Ashlee Evans-Smith in her second bout and submitted Sara McMann in her third to move to 10-0. However, she has lost some steam in recent outings.
Vieira has lost two of the last three and appears to have reached a stuttering point in her career. A knockout loss to Irene Aldana and being on the wrong end of a decision to Yana Kunitskaya has dropped her to seventh in the UFC bantamweight rankings.
As for Miesha Tate, she has a perfect record since returning, albeit being one bout. Tate knocked out the retiring Marion Reneau in her comeback fight and immediately returned to the UFC rankings.
This fight is difficult to call, and that's reflected in the odds. At around 5/6 though, we are predicting Tate to continue her impressive return and pick up the victory.
Michael Chiesa vs Sean Brady
The continuing trend on this fight card - the veteran Michael Chiesa faces 28-year-old Sean Brady.
Chiesa, 33, has had a number of polarizing performances since shifting to welterweight. He made the shift to the 170lb weight limit in December 2018 and was given the tough task of facing serial contender Neil Magn in January.
Surprisingly, Chiesa edged a decision against Magny (who could be next in line for a title shot himself), before being defeated by Vincente Luque on his second outing at welterweight.
As for Sean Brady, this is the most difficult matchup of his career. The Philadelphia native may be unbeaten, but he hasn't faced anybody with the experience or skill of Michael Chiesa.
Brady has impressed during his spell with the UFC though, coming off of a submission victory over Jake Matthews in March. With this in mind, we are still going for Chiesa to cause an upset at 5/4. We think he will apply to better tactics and better Brady via decision.
Joanne Calderwood vs Taila Santos
The final fight that we will be previewing is another important fight in the women's game - this time in the flyweight division.
Joanne Calderwood was in touching distance of a fight against flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko before her defeat to Lauren Murphy in June.
The Scottish fighter has alternated wins and losses in her last five fights, but each encounter has been to an impressive contender.
Taila Santos - looking to extend her winning streak to four - is arguably facing her toughest challenge yet.
She has faced competition from Roxanne Modafferi and Molly McCann (being the victor on each occasion) and we expect her to continue her impressive surge up the flyweight rankings in this one at 1/3.
