Following three weeks of nearly faultless performances, Great British Bake Off champion John Whaite is the new favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing, alongside professional, same-sex dance partner, Johannes Radebe.
If the pair do go all the way, they'll make history, becoming the second same-sex couple to win the entire reality competition across the franchise, following in the footsteps of Jakob Fauerby and Silas Holst who won Denmark's Dancing With The Stars, back in 2019.
Of course, with there still being many weeks to go before we reach the Strictly finale (we've not even hit Blackpool yet), there are a handful of celebs who could pip him to the post. Here are those who will fancy their chances of snatching the Glitterball Trophy from John and Johannes' grasp…
Still picking up a flurry of bets, Rose is almost certainly making it all the way through to the end of the competition. The past week's Foxtrot to the theme from Titanic saw her look her most regal to-date, both because of how she was dressed and performed alongside pro Giovanni Pernice, picking up four scores of nine from the judges.
Coupled up with Kai Widdrington, AJ remains a strong contender after stunning the millions watching at home when she danced the American Smooth to I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston, from The Bodyguard. Viewers like to see a journey on Strictly however, so she may suffer from having peaked too early. Still, maybe there's a presenting job on the series in her future?
Having picked up the first 10 of the series - albeit with a performance that many said didn't warrant the maximum score from the one of the judges - this CBBC presenter could be a dark horse when it comes to taking the top spot. Over-marking may do more harm than good however; if the audience at home don't agree with the judges, they like to let their voices be known via voting.
Though he's middle of the pack, Tom and his dance partner Dowden could be the biggest surprise of the series. There's every chance he could McFly his way through to the finale thanks to the huge following the band have and, let's face it, he's actually pretty good on the dancefloor! Not quite as good as fellow McFly member and former Strictly winner Harry Judd, but he has the potential.
