Max Verstappen's next move: Guenther Steiner suggests Aston Martin as a landing spot

Guenther Steiner has ignited speculation about Max Verstappen's future by naming Aston Martin as a potential landing spot amidst recent turmoil at Red Bull Racing.

Following allegations against Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, Max Verstappen's father, Jos Verstappen, hinted at the possibility of the driver seeking a new team.

Amidst the chaos, Mercedes have openly expressed interest in signing the three-time World Champion.

However, former Haas boss Steiner has thrown another contender into the mix. Speaking to Sky F1, he said, "I think everyone in Formula 1 at the moment is interested in Max Verstappen. It's more about where he wants to go. Aston Martin as well is a possibility."

Despite the uncertainty, Steiner believes that Verstappen could potentially stay with Red Bull. "I think it has calmed down lately, what is going on there," he remarked, suggesting that repairing the relationship between Verstappen and Red Bull could be in both parties' interests.

Steiner highlighted the difficulty of Verstappen breaking his contract with Red Bull, emphasizing the positive aspects of staying with the team. "He's won so much with that team," Steiner noted, "the team gave him the opportunity in the beginning to get into F1."

Verstappen's future remains uncertain as Formula 1 gears up for the Japan Grand Prix, the fourth race of the 2024 season. Scheduled for April 5-7, the event promises excitement on the Suzuka International Racing Course.

As speculation swirls around Verstappen's potential future, all eyes will be on the Japan Grand Prix to see if any developments arise in the ongoing saga of one of Formula 1's most talented drivers.
