Lewis Hamilton 'more at peace now' after Africa trip

Lewis Hamilton
Seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton spent his summer break reconnecting with Africa, a continent that holds deep personal significance for him.
After attending the Paris Olympics to support a friend and sharing a moment with Snoop Dogg, Hamilton embarked on his second journey to Africa, following his first visit in 2022.
During his initial trip, Hamilton explored several countries, including Namibia, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Reflecting on his latest travels, Hamilton expressed his profound connection to the continent in an Instagram post:
"I feel my ancestors with me now stronger than I ever have before."
He continued, "For a second year, I'm so fortunate to travel through Africa during the break. The first time around, I was overwhelmed by just how beautiful and healing this world can be, and this trip is no different."
Hamilton's journey began in Morocco, where he found solace and inspiration.
"Just like last time, I'm feeling more and more re-centered and at peace as the days go by. Morocco was the first stop—words can't describe the experience, but hopefully, the photos come close. There's still so much to see and learn," he concluded.
