Ferrari secures F1 team title sponsorship deal with Hewlett Packard

The Ferrari Formula 1 team has sealed a significant long-term title sponsorship agreement with American technology powerhouse Hewlett Packard (HP).

HP's announcement heralds its partnership with Ferrari as the new title sponsor, marking a pivotal moment that will see the official team name change to Scuderia Ferrari HP. 

The deal, described as "multi-year," underscores the strategic alignment between the iconic Italian racing outfit and the global tech giant.

The collaboration will see HP's distinctive blue logo prominently featured on Ferrari's F1 livery starting from the upcoming Miami Grand Prix and extending across the team's apparel and racing gear. 

Beyond the track, the title sponsorship will also encompass Ferrari's F1 Academy and esports initiatives, highlighting a comprehensive partnership that spans various facets of motorsport.

"Our founder passed on to us his continuous will to progress. From this stems our drive to innovate on the road and on the track, as well as our commitment to a sustainable future, from carbon neutrality to the education of the younger generation," said Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna.

"In HP we have found the same values, which make it an ideal partner. We look forward to starting our collaboration and facing new opportunities and challenges together."

Meanwhile, Vigna's HP counterpart Enrique Lores spoke about how the partnership is a great fit for both parties.

"With technology, performance and exceptional craftsmanship fuelling the future, the partnership between HP and Ferrari is a natural fit," said Lores.

"Both brands are built on rich histories that have endured the test of time. Through this unique collaboration, we also have an opportunity to reach new audiences, drive business growth, and create lasting impact for our shared clients and communities.
