Aston Martin's Formula 1 team's new factory has received high praise from Aston Martin boss Mike Krack, who described it as "fantastic".
Aston Martin CEO Mike Krack has showered praise on the Formula 1 team's newly unveiled factory, which has left a lasting impression on him. The moving-in process began just before the Spanish Grand Prix and has already begun to bear fruit.
Krack, in his enthusiastic tone, exclaimed to media, saying, "It's fantastic - you should come and have a look. It's really, really nice." Speaking to the media, he shared his excitement about the recent relocation, acknowledging that while not everything is ready yet, the positive changes have been evident.
"The first floor is now bustling with staff, creating a vibrant atmosphere and fostering improved communication.
"We have seen already after one day that you have a much better exchange between the people. You see different people that you have maybe not seen as often as before. So, it was a good first week and it will continue to be very good," Krack elaborated.
Admitting the intricacy of transferring numerous features to the new facility, Krack assured that the process is meticulously planned. While he acknowledges the ease of his personal transition, he recognizes the challenges faced by the production team, who must carefully relocate autoclaves and machines. The absence of downtime is crucial, and meticulous planning ensures a seamless transition.
Looking ahead, the next Formula 1 race will be held on 18 June at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Canada, marking another opportunity for Aston Martin to showcase their prowess on the track.
