Christian Horner: Sergio Perez needs Red Bull's support to bounce back

Red Bull boss Christian Horner admits Sergio Perez is struggling at the moment.
Christian Horner emphasised the importance of continuing to support Red Bull driver Sergio Perez as the Mexican faces a "difficult" period.
Perez's recent performances have been challenging, as he has failed to advance to Q3 in three consecutive events.
This streak began with a qualifying crash in Monaco, which resulted in a difficult race and no points in the principality.
However, Perez showcased resilience in Spain, recovering from an 11th-place start to finish fourth in a solid race.
In Canada, his progress from 12th to sixth was respectable, but it became apparent that he lacked the expected race-day pace.
Despite these setbacks, Horner acknowledged the need for ongoing support for Perez.
"I think he just needs a good weekend to just lift his confidence," said Horner
"I think he's had three difficult weekends, three difficult Saturdays, that then puts you on the backfoot on a Sunday. And we've seen what Checo is capable of, only a month or two ago.
"And I think he just needs to have a strong weekend to find that confidence. And then I've got no doubt he'll be back.
"He is second in the world championship at the moment. He's the only other driver to have won two races other than Max this year.
"So yeah, we need to support him through this period. And I'm sure he'll find his form again soon."
The team recognises the challenges he has faced and aims to assist him in overcoming them and delivering stronger performances in the future.
