Carlos Sainz considering many options as F1 teams chase him for 2025 season

Ferrari's decision to extend Charles Leclerc's contract and sign Mercedes legend Lewis Hamilton for 2025 has left Sainz without a drive for the new campaign.

Given Sainz's impressive performance this year, including a dominant victory in Melbourne, it is unsurprising that many teams want to sign him.

With many options on the table, Sainz has not yet decided on his future, although numerous teams are swiftly finalising their driver rosters.

Sainz acknowledged that he has not made up his mind about his future team. However, he is eager to resolve his future plans promptly.

"I have options on the table ready to make a decision. I'm going to make the decision very soon because I want to get it out of the way and focus on the rest of the year with Ferrari," Sainz told Spanish TV show El Hormiguero.

"There will be time to think about next year. This year I have a car that still allows me to make podiums and win races. I want to focus on that.

"There is not one option, there are several options.

"All the teams that don't have their drivers signed for next year have offered me a contract. If I want to I could sign with anyone tomorrow, but I'm going to take it a bit slow. I will decide soon and any of those teams is an option for me."
