PFL are looking to make a mark at the grassroots level with their latest initiative.

PFL Europe launched the 'PFL Europe Prospect Award' during the E.M.M.A.A Four Nations Championship which took place July 14-16 at the Ebbw Vale Sports Centre in Wales.

Awarded to three fighters who showed particular promise, the special scholarship saw each granted $1,000 funding towards their training over the next 12 months, plus a mentorship by Director of Fighter Operations, Dan Hardy, to help guide their progression within the sport.
Charlie Lynch-Spence (England), Lorenzo Parente (Scotland) & Alfie Parker (Wales) were all awarded the grant.

James Frewin, SVP of International for the PFL, said: "PFL Europe are proud to partner with E.M.M.A.A Four Nations Championships.

"The investment they make to provide more opportunity to develop the sport at the grassroots is vital for the development of MMA in the UK & Ireland and we look forward to a long and successful partnership."
PFL Europe is holding quarterly events throughout 2023, which began in Newcastle on March 25.
The ground-breaking league features 32 of Europe's top fighters from 14 countries competing across four weight divisions.
After four events, four PFL Europe Champions will be crowned with each Champion taking home $100,000.
Champions also have a chance to earn a spot on the PFL Global Roster and the $1 million global season prize.
